The Leng Drake's Lair
In an ancient palace within the mountain, at the highest point of the cliffs of Leng, lives Sparky(or Flash), the Drake. Here, the Drake has summoned a vast array of minions to guard his domain. These include many Minotaur, Manticorae, and even deadly Liches. Most of these guardians live outside the palace proper, though a few were allowed to enter the Drake's inner sanctum. Sparky is bigger and more powerful than his Axe Glacier cousin, Sparkles. His size may be due to his voracious appetite, which he appeases with great regularity. It is said that when least expected, his tail will lash out with poisoned barbs against his foe. The forces of chaos are very strong here and the creatures regenerate very quickly, and in great number. Flash will use his immense power to summon replacements no sooner than they seem to have been vanquished. From the bridge leading to Sparky’s lair, the are two airdrops that will take the brave Warrior to a much ignored Minotaur lair. The lair is a cleft within the same rift and so consists of a North and South side. The North side is usually the more populated and has a compliment of three to five Minotaur and perhaps a Scorpion. The only way out of either side of the lair is by jumping down further. The drake himself is bigger than average, though his attacks are roughly the equivalent of the Axe-Glacier drake. His size may be due to the fact that he is always hungry (perhaps due to a shortage of his favourite titbit), and therefore tends to at those that would dare to disturb his repose. The forces of chaos are very strong in this area, such that the creatures will regenerate quickly, and huge zoos have been known to form here.
