Believe that if the weapon is treated honorably and fed enough blood - it will magically return to his side if lost.
Ruled by a Paramount Chief - chosen from the clan's chiefs. Usually a great fighter/thaum.
They honor the gods of Thaumaturgy, but call their Warrior-priests "Speakers" as they 'speak to the wind'.
Gain wealth through farming/herding, but real fame and fortune comes from tournaments.
No matter how rich, no one is considered a Chief unless they are a proven Speaker or Fighter.

The Shriker Clan - comprised of many speakers, perform elaborate ceremonies believing that they will be given dominion over the word if performed correctly.
Wind knot clan - fighters, import speakers - believe only in their weapons.
Grass snake clan - comprised of many speakers who lean towards mysticism, and thieves. Lead by powerful Paramount Chief, & female Speaker.
Mountain Cloud clan - only clan to have wizards, help all clans.
Dark moon clan - sorcerors, murderers, cannibals, dark practitioners. comprised of many families. some worse than others.
