Returning Dagger

The returning daggers are the pinnacle thief weapon in the original game content. They are silver, and have a base attack bonus of +5 which makes them an extremely potent ranged weapon.

They are dropped off Carfel who resides deep in the Yasnaki complex of the Underkingdom. Carfel’s lair is defended by Shelob, a giant spider that settled at the entrance of Carfel’s lair. Only the strongest thieves can survive the journey to battle Carfel which will reward the champion with two shiny new returning daggers.

Strategies/Tips: Carfel can only be damaged by blue glow or silver weapons - This means you must use a +2 silver dagger, Yeti Dagger or Kosh Gauntlets to hurt him. You can attempt to brute force him with straight hand skill or dagger, or use a hybrid strategy of blocking and swinging with hand while throwing venomed silver daggers from your belt.
