Vinz is can be accessed through Keshma's Lower Valley and offers a number of services. Perhaps most importantly is that he crafts the Keshma portal gem (see: How to craft a Keshma portal gem). However, he also make backup gems using your current portal gem which only requires you to have your current portal gem and 1,000,000 gold. To make a backup, drop your current portal gem and the gold and say "v, craft backup". Vinz also crafts Keshma Griffin Boots from griffin eggs dropped by the Griffin Matriarch. To craft the griffin boots say "v, craft griffinboots".
