Falco in Bloodlands has abandoned all hope in finding his dog Gus. He was separated from his dog in the Blood Forest as he barely made it out alive. Should you be so bold, Falco will reward you with a blood ring.
The player level will limit how many Bloodsouls the ring can hold. You can see the level required below to see what the limit is.
Example: If you are level 23, you will be able to reach 100 Bloodsouls maximum (Legendary Ring). Because Legendary requires level 24, The ring will stay at 100 Bloodsouls. You wont be able to add any additional Bloodsouls to the ring until you hit 24.

The secondary effects of the weapons are only useful in Bloodlands itself (this includes the Planes). The ring can be used elsewhere for its other bonuses though such as regen, hitpoints and eventual F/I.
Its rumored that when you cast the ring on a Bloodlands weapon you receive a buff where it wont fumble!
As it begins to level up in rank from Bloodsouls (have a merchant appraise the ring to see the level) you should also start to notice an increase in damage on your weapon.
When you kill a boss that gives a soul, your weapons will automatically level to match the level of your bloodring. At legendary, your ring will increase your blood weapon level to 4 and your blood weapon will gain +1 atk and +1 ac adds (+6/+4 blood axe becomes +7/+5). Level 5 weapons are confirmed to also receive the same +1/1AC increase.
The Bloodring has the ability to empower the Bloodlands weapons. To empower the ring you need to gather Blood souls from slaying boss lair crits in the Bloodlands. Only certain mobs will give this credit.
